Credentialing
Healthcare credentialing and compliance, without the spreadsheet.
Two ways to stay ahead of renewals: CredentialApex — the organization-level roster, credential and document system for hospitals, practices, home health and staffing agencies — and a personal credential wallet for individual clinicians, built into HealthcareApex.
Built for how healthcare actually hires and gets hired
One roster, every credential
Every clinician, their license type, state, expiration date and status in a single view.
Expiration & missing-credential alerts
Be notified before a license or certification lapses, and see what's missing from a file.
Document vault
Store license copies, BLS/ACLS cards, background checks and more against each employee.
Compliance at a glance
See what's compliant, expiring, expired or missing across locations and departments.
CSV import & reports
Bring your roster in from a spreadsheet; export audit-ready credential reports.
Personal credential wallet
Individual clinicians on HealthcareApex can track their own licenses and share a packet with employers.
A simple, transparent process
- 1
Add your employees — individually or via CSV import.
- 2
Record each credential: license, certification, issue and expiration dates.
- 3
Attach supporting documents to each credential.
- 4
Let CredentialApex monitor expirations and surface what needs attention.
Trust & verification
CredentialApex runs as a dedicated application alongside HealthcareApex, purpose-built for organization-level credential compliance.
Frequently asked questions
Is CredentialApex part of HealthcareApex?
It's a companion application in the same network. HealthcareApex hosts the public directory and the individual credential wallet; CredentialApex is the dedicated organization-level credentialing system.
How is this different from the free license lookup tool?
The free tool (/tools/nursing-license-lookup) checks one license at a time. CredentialApex tracks an entire roster with expiration alerts, a document vault and compliance reporting.
Who is CredentialApex built for?
Hospitals, medical and dental practices, home health and staffing agencies, and multi-site organizations that need to track credential compliance across more than a handful of clinicians.
Can individual clinicians use it?
Individuals can use the personal credential wallet on their HealthcareApex profile. CredentialApex itself is organization-oriented.
Does credentialing data mix with the public directory?
No. Organization credential records, documents and employee data are kept separate from the public provider directory.
Important
This directory is for informational and discovery purposes only. Always verify professional licenses with official state boards. HealthcareApex does not provide medical advice, endorse providers, or guarantee the accuracy of self-submitted listings. Contact professionals directly to confirm availability, qualifications, and services. If you see incorrect information, claim or update your profile, or report it to us.
